World Cup Daily live: Group F finale sees Netherlands, Japan and Sweden qualify
We continue the final round of group stage matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as three groups were decided Wednesday and another three will be decided Thursday.
To kick things off in Group E, Curaçao’s tournament ended, falling 2-0 to Ivory Coast, but Ecuador kept theirs alive by delivering a stunning 2-1 comeback win over Germany.
Later, we went to Group F as Japan took on Sweden with the game ending in a 1-1 draw as both teams qualified, and Tunisia couldn’t beat the Netherlands, as the Dutch won 3-1 to win the group.
Finally, we wrap up the day by going to Group D as Türkiye face off against co-hosts the United States, and Paraguay take on Australia.
